About the Journal

Aim and scope

LA REVISTA RELAYN MICRO Y PEQUEÑA EMPRESA EN LATINOAMÉRICA is an open-access scientific journal, published every four months, founded in 2017, promoted by RedesLA and edited by iQuatro Editores. It is aimed at researchers, professors, and specialists interested in the generation and dissemination of knowledge on the management of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) within the Latin American context.

Its objective is to contribute to strengthening the theory and practice of MSE management by publishing original scientific articles that analyze problems, challenges, and opportunities related to this strategic sector for the economic and social development of Latin America.

The journal welcomes contributions that address internal aspects of micro and small enterprises (MSEs), particularly in the areas of productivity and information and communication technologies (ICTs), business organization and management, competitiveness, marketing, management strategies, innovation, finance, financial literacy, and sustainability. RELAYN also promotes research related to external factors that influence the creation, development, and sustainability of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), considering the economic, political, social, technological, cultural, and institutional contexts of Latin America.

LA REVISTA RELAYN MICRO Y PEQUEÑA EMPRESA EN LATINOAMÉRICA promotes the dissemination of research with scientific rigor, social relevance, and pertinence to the Latin American reality, fostering academic exchange and knowledge building.

Articles are preferred in Spanish and English.

Publication frequency

The journal is published every four months and is issued in February, May, and September.
