Entrepreneurship as a development strategy for women in the eastern region of Mexico State

Business projects impulsed by women have scarcely been studied and due to the need to diminish gaps on account of gender, the objective of this research was the analysis of entrepreneurship as a strategy for university students’ development in the eastern area of Mexico State. Information was obtained through 30 interviews applied in the Centro Universitario Texcoco-UAEM, which, with the use of Atlas ti, was analyzed. Results showed that entrepreneurship is a strategy used to generate economic resources for students, which enables them to cover their needs and improve their living standards.
