Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of Institutional Communication on Organizational Climate in higher education institutes, given the scarcity of causal studies in this area. The study employed a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and a correlation-causal method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), including multi-group analysis (MGA) and robustness tests. The results indicate that Institutional Communication explains between 79 to 82% of the variance in Organizational Climate, consolidating it as a strategic and cross-sectional determinant. The main contribution consists of positioning communication as the central axis of Educational Management when fortifying positive and sustainable organizational climates.
