Abstract

The objective of this investigation consisted of determining the impact of effort expectancy and social influence on the intention of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in micro and small enterprises in Veracruz - Boca del Río. A quantitative approach with an explanatory scope was adapted. The analysis was developed using structural equations with SEM-PL, complemented by a multiple lineal regression for model refinement. The results confirm that the intention to use ICT is determined mainly by the perceived easiness by which it is applied and by the social pressure exerted by the surrounding environment.
