Application Process

Before applying, please review the following requirements:

Academic Background:
Hold a postgraduate degree (PhD) in a relevant scientific field.
Have professional research experience and specify your area of ​​specialization.
Peer Review Experience:
Be or have been a reviewer for high-impact, indexed journals.
Have published at least 10 articles in high-impact, indexed journals.
Review Platform Registration:
Will be willing to register on the iQuatro Editores OJS platform for online submission and review of research papers.
Will be willing to participate in discussions with the editors regarding the evaluation process.

CRITERIA FOR REVIEWERS WHEN EVALUATING RESEARCH PAPERS:

Objectivity and Impartiality:

Consider the originality and the actual contribution of the work to the field of research, maintaining an impartial approach in the evaluation.

Avoid personal biases or prejudices when evaluating the work.
Evaluate the work based on its contributions to science.

Constructive tone:
Use respectful and professional language in your feedback.
Be objective when pointing out areas for improvement, focusing on specific aspects and providing suggestions or recommendations that will help the author improve their work and address the reviewer's revisions.
Refrain from making unfounded judgments and criticisms.
Clear and precise suggestions for improvement:

According to the review form provided on the iQuatro Editores platform, you must clearly indicate the improvements needed for the section(s) of the work being evaluated.
Underline or highlight the areas for improvement within the Word document assigned for review and attach this information to the review form on the iQuatro Editores platform.
Replicate or supplement the improvement observations within the review form provided on the iQuatro Editores platform, ensuring consistency in the written and highlighted feedback in the original file. Registration on the review platform:
Willingness to register on the iQuatro Editores OJS platform for the online assignment and review of research papers.
Willingness to participate in any discussions with the editors regarding the evaluation.
Rigorous evaluation:
Evaluate the work thoroughly and rigorously, taking into account all aspects requested in the review form provided by iQuatro Editores on the platform.
Provide detailed feedback in each section of the review form, highlighting both the work's strengths and areas for improvement.
Confidentiality and ethics:
Reviewers are expected to disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect the objectivity of their review.
Maintain the confidentiality of the review process and do not disclose any information about the work.
Avoid plagiarism or appropriation of ideas or results from the evaluated work.
If you wish to use ideas or results from the evaluated work, you must wait until its publication to properly acknowledge the authorship of the work.

Meeting deadlines:
Respect the deadlines set on the iQ4 platform for review and provide feedback within the allotted time.
Communicate any problems, delays, or extension requests to the editors at least 5 days before the deadline set on the iQ4 platform.
