The objective was to analyze the effects invisible violence and discrimination has on mental health, well-being and job performance of women working in the education sector. A quantitative non-experimental, cross-sectional descriptive-correlational design, was applied through the administration of Likert scale surveys to 678 female teachers and administrative personnel. The analysis proved that both phenomena are significantly associated with health and mental deterioration, perceived well-being and work performance. This study shows that the practice of subtle and normalized violence affects psychological and job performance variables, contributing to a scarcely documented empirical gap within educational settings.
