Resumen

En el presente estudio se realiza un análisis cuantitativo descriptivo y correlacional sobre las percepciones de la pandemia del COVID-19, en donde se usó un instrumento psicométrico para dos muestras de estudiantes, de dos facultades diferentes en dos instituciones de educación superior distintas tanto por la ubicación geográfica como por el contexto social, mismo que involucró a 467 alumnos. El estudio demuestra que las narrativas pesimistas y el pensamiento tradicional tienen relación con las competencias socioemocionales de los jóvenes estudiantes en los tiempos actuales de pandemia por COVID-19, que van desde bajo hasta alto impacto.

Abstract

In the present study, a quantitative, descriptive and correlational analysis of the perceptions of the COVID-19 pandemic is carried out, where a psychometric instrument was used for two samples of students, from two different faculties in two higher education institutions different both by geographical location and social context, which involved 467 students. The study shows that pessimistic narratives and traditional thinking are related to the socio-emotional competencies of young students in the current times of the COVID-19 pandemic, ranging from low to high impact.
