Abstract

Given the problem that afflicts university teachers due to the lack of skills for students' reading comprehension, four strategies were applied for exposing texts to students in the fourth semester of the degree in Sociology of Communication and Education. The objective was to assess the development of skills for reading comprehension and analysis based on the experience they had when working with these strategies. Action research was used, in which observations, co-evaluation and interviews were carried out. The time was mainly dedicated to activities for reading comprehension, so only this skill was developed.
