Abstract

Derived from the Institutional Graduate Follow-up Program (Programa de Seguimiento Institucional de Egresados - PISE, the Normal School of Valle de Brave, partial results of this investigation were presented with the objective of identifying the employability conditions of novice teachers who graduated in 2018-2022 and 2019-2023, as well as the implications brought by the assignment of codes issued by the Unit of the System for the Career of Teachers (Unidad del Sistema para la Carrera de las Maestras y los Maestros – USICAMM). Findings alert of a punitive hiring process which has brought about frustration, uncertainty, distrust, job resignation and an evident increase in unemployment.
