APC Policy (Article processing charges)
LA REVISTA RELEP EDUCACIÓN Y PEDAGOGÍA EN LATINOAMÉRICA is an open-access academic journal that provides free and open access to all its content for readers, researchers, and the general public.
The journal's editorial sustainability is primarily supported by the SME Development System, an institution that subsidizes and supports the academic, editorial, and technological activities necessary to guarantee the quality and continuity of the publication.
As part of this sustainability model, some accepted articles make a contribution to partially support the expenses associated with editorial management. However, the evaluation, acceptance, and publication of manuscripts do not depend exclusively on this financial contribution, as the journal remains committed to the open dissemination of scientific knowledge.
When applicable, this contribution is:
* 4,500 MXN for authors residing in Mexico.
* 241 USD for authors residing outside of Mexico.
Should authors temporarily lack the necessary resources to cover this contribution, they may contact the editorial team to request a payment extension or explore available support options, in order to prevent financial constraints from limiting the publication of high-quality research.
The funds obtained are allocated to the maintenance of the editorial platform, manuscript management, style editing, metadata standardization, DOI assignment, digital preservation, scientific dissemination, and other activities necessary to guarantee the visibility, accessibility, and permanence of the published content.
The journal remains committed to editorial transparency, academic integrity, and open access to scientific knowledge for the benefit of the Latin American academic community.
