Plagiarism detection and Artificial Intelligence policy

LA REVISTA RELEP. Educación y Pedagogía en Latinoamérica rejects any fraudulent practices, therefore, submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not simultaneously submitted to other publishers. Likewise, results must be presented clearly, without manipulation or falsification.

Authors are understood to have read and accepted the editorial criteria for participation and therefore commit to adhering to the requirements of academic and scientific integrity in the formulation of the problem, argumentation, hypothesis, use of methodologies, interpretation, conclusions, and in the use of critical apparatus when paraphrasing or citing sources. Authors assume responsibility for respecting the intellectual property and copyright of third parties or organizations.

Submitted articles will be reviewed using Plagiarism—a plagiarism detection program—to ensure that manuscripts do not contain any plagiarism. If plagiarism is found, the manuscript will be rejected. This is to guarantee that the journal is a serious and high-quality publication.

Furthermore, the journal's policy states that manuscripts created, in whole or in part, using artificial intelligence tools will not be accepted. Authors must declare that their work is entirely the product of human creation at the time of submission.

If plagiarism or the use of AI is detected, it may result in the rejection of the submission or the withdrawal of the article.
