Abstract

The report of a project to build a validated instrument to evaluate the Departmental Performance in a public teacher training school in Mexico is presented; For this purpose, directors of teacher training colleges participated as content judges, and a method based on quantitative techniques was used with inferential statistical analyses of the data from the instrument's piloting in a total population of 102 subjects, with two units of analysis with equal variance. At the end of the project, adequate metric values were found in the instrument built, so it can be proposed that it be used for the purposes that originated its construction.
