The design of an open educational resource for university students with adverse childhood experiences

The objective of this investigation was to identify and prioritize training needs related to adverse childhood experiences, as a basis for the design of an open educational resource. A quantitative method with a descriptive-exploratory and comparative scope was applied. Results showed high ratings across all factors where emotional regulation, interpersonal support, executive functions and self-control as well as anxiety management stand out. The main contribution is the correct design of an inclusive, accessible and culturally relevant open education resource for higher education.
